Rapture 2025????


An odd thing happened to me the morning of July 31, 2025.

BACKGROUND:

In 1981 I was driving North on I-75 highway in Ohio.  I was listening to the car radio, when all of a sudden the theme song of the new movie Chariots of Fire played on the radio.  Immediately I was no longer aware of driving my car, but was only aware of this song coming out of the sky!  I then had a vision of the return of Jesus riding on the clouds, emerging from another dimension, collecting and transforming His people, then disappearing with His people into another dimension.  Then I suddenly became aware that I was still driving my car North on I-75!  This event, commonly called "The Rapture", has bee a major part of my life as a result of this vision.

John 14:2  In My Father's house are many dwelling places; if it were otherwise, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you.
John 14:3  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; so that where I am, you may be also.

Mat 24:29  But immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.
Mat 24:30  And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven; and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming upon the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
Mat 24:31  And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet; and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

1Th 4:13  But I do not wish you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, that you be not grieved, even as others, who have no hope.
1Th 4:14  For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, in exactly the same way also, those who have fallen asleep in Jesus will God bring with Him.
1Th 4:15  For this we say to you by the Word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall in no wise precede those who have fallen asleep
1Th 4:16  Because the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout of command, with the voice of an archangel and with the trumpet of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first;
1Th 4:17  Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds for the meeting with the Lord in the air; and so shall we always be with the Lord.
1Th 4:18  Therefore, encourage one another with these words.

Then in 2014 I came across a YouTube video about 'Yom Teruah', which is the Hebrew name for the fourth of God's six appointed 'feasts' listed in the book of Leviticus, chapter 23, in the Bible.  I had never heard of Yom Teruah, but this also became a major event in my life.  Yom Teruah is known in the Western world as the Feast of Trumpets, and the Rapture of the people of God is accompanied by the blowing of trumpets.

So, on with my odd experience on July 31, 2025.

The previous evening, July 30, 2025, I heard news reports of the major earthquake off the Russian coast of Kamchatka, and the tsunami warnings which were sent out in the Pacific Ocean area as a result of that earthquake.

So, at 5:55 a.m. on July 31 I awoke with the words of a song in my head.  I did not recognize the song, but realized from the lyrics that it pertained to a theatrical production.  The lyrics were:

"Overture, curtains, lights,
This is it, the night of nights
No more rehearsing and nursing a part
We know every part by heart
Overture, curtains, lights
This is it, you'll hit the heights
And oh what heights we'll hit
On with the show this is it

Tonight what heights we'll hit
On with the show this is it!"

Several hours later I arrived at my office, turned on my computer and did an Internet search of the first line of that song.  To my amazement I found that they are the lyrics of the theme song to Bugs Bunny cartoons!!  LOL!

So I continued to ponder these lyrics and had several thoughts.  First, 'This is it!" sounds very profound.  A change from preparation to the real thing - whatever the 'real thing' is.  Second, 'No more rehearsing.'  That reminded me that God's 'feasts' listed in Leviticus 23 -  the annual Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, Weeks/Pentecost, Yom Teruah/Trumpets,  Day of Atonement, and Tabernacles are meant for reminders of God's faithfulness in the past and rehearsals of major events to come.

The first three annual appointed times, which occur in the Spring of each year, were satisfied by Jesus of Nazareth dying on Passover, being holy/unleavened, also being the first to rise from the dead on First Fruits, and also being the One Who poured out the Holy Spirit on the Day of Weeks/Pentecost.

The next annual appointed time which has yet to be fulfilled is Yom Teruah/Trumpets.  In 2025 this event will occur on the first day of God's seventh month after the Spring equinox, called September 22-23 on the commonly used Gregorian calendar.

So, I am wondering whether my unusual experience of awaking with the 'On With The Show, This Is It' song on my mind is an indication that the Rapture will occur this coming September 22-23.

As a result I have done some research online about the topic "Blessed Hope".  That is a term used with reference to the promise of Jesus that He would return for His people.  I found many videos on YouTube of people wondering if this year the Rapture will occur.

I am hesitant to publish this info because I am torn between alerting people to a possible momentous event and not wanting to cause unnecessary alarm.  I did bounce this info off of two well-known Christian leaders of my acquaintance, and one said 'That's nice' and the other said 'That doesn't fit into my theology'.  My immediate thought was 'That's what the leaders in Israel said when Jesus showed up the first time'.

But now I have decided that I should say something - similar to the guy who presses a button to send out a tsunami alert when there is a real possibility that a tsunami may occur.  If he is right people have a chance to prepare, and if he is wrong, no harm done (hopefully).

So I offer this for your prayerful consideration, dear reader.

Since I wrote the message above a plethora of videos have come to my attention along the same lines.  But others point out that the Gospel will be preached throughout the world first.  Mat_24:14  And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.  And 2Th_2:3  Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

I did come across one video by a seemingly smart new believer in Jesus who has concluded that there willl be three raptures - pre-, mid-, and post-Millenium.  hmmm
